Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Israel has not accepted the proposal put forward by American President Donald Trump's team for the Gaza Strip. This statement was made after Netanyahu received assurances that the Israeli army would not be required to withdraw from Palestinian territory before the complete disarmament of the Hamas group. In a video recording, Netanyahu mentioned that the plan sent by the U.S. does not reflect Israel's position.

He also had a meeting with members of President Trump's Peace Council, which is responsible for implementing the peace plan for Gaza. Hamas announced that it has accepted an agreement that includes its disarmament and the gradual withdrawal of Israel; however, Netanyahu is facing pressure from his far-right allies, who contest this agreement and demand a vote in the government to reject it. Bombardments continue in Gaza, despite peace initiatives.
