French President Emmanuel Macron stated that it would be 'useful' for Europe to re-engage in discussions with Russian President Vladimir Putin, emphasizing the importance of finding an appropriate framework for this dialogue in the coming weeks. At the same time, European Union leaders decided to grant Ukraine a loan through loans, avoiding the use of frozen Russian assets, a decision appreciated by Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever for maintaining unity. Ukraine is in a financial crisis, needing 135 billion euros to survive in the next two years, and President Zelensky warned that without aid, the country will have to reduce drone production. In this context, American and Russian officials will meet in Miami for further discussions on a peace plan, while Ukrainian and American delegations will hold new negotiations to obtain security guarantees.
