The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, praised on Thursday the "amazing" production capacity of drones in Ukraine, which continues to withstand Russian aggression.

The statements came after a significant Ukrainian attack on Moscow, which caused fires and disrupted the functioning of airports in the Russian capital. Macron emphasized that Ukraine demonstrates remarkable courage and a military innovation capacity that has impressed the international community since the beginning of the conflict.

At the same time, he mentioned that, although the advance of Russian forces has slowed, negotiations to stop the conflict are at an impasse. Macron highlighted a "real change" at the G7 summit, especially regarding U.S. support for Ukraine, emphasizing that President Trump could reintroduce sanctions against Russian oil, which could put pressure on the Russian economy and facilitate peace negotiations.
