On July 2, Louis Vuitton suffered a cyber-attack that resulted in the theft of customer data in the UK, including names, contact details and purchase history. The retailer has assured that financial information was not affected and that there is no evidence of the stolen data being used. This is the third similar incident in recent months, following attacks on operations in South Korea and the Christian Dior brand. LVMH joins a growing list of retailers affected by cyber threats, with four suspects recently arrested by UK authorities.
