LazerBruzz has announced that it has successfully tested a laser system designed to protect critical infrastructure from drone attacks at a firing range in northwest Russia. The system, part of the Posok project, demonstrated the ability to destroy a static FPV drone model at a distance of 500 meters, taking just 0.2 seconds to damage the drone's engine. Although the test was conducted with a 3 kilowatt laser, the company has a more powerful 80 kilowatt version designed to protect critical installations. LazerBruzz said the equipment could be used in the war in Ukraine, where drones play a crucial role in the conflict.
