In a coordinated attack, Ukrainian drones struck Moscow, damaging the Gazpromneft-MNPZ refinery, one of the largest in Russia, with a capacity of 11 million tons of oil per year.

The Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, posted a clip of the attack, emphasizing that it represents a proper response to Russian attacks and the prolongation of the conflict.

While the leader of Ukraine is at the G7 meeting, he stated that "Russia must be forced to end the war against our people."

The Mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin, confirmed the incident, mentioning that there are no casualties and that emergency services are responding.

He also reported the downing of approximately 60 drones by Russian air defense. Unconfirmed information suggests that a drone may have also hit a residential block. Ukraine used the Liutyi drone, a kamikaze with a long range of action, capable of flying up to 1000 kilometers. It is over 4 meters long and costs between 100 and 200 thousand dollars. Traffic on several streets in Moscow was halted following the attack.
