The Kremlin has stated that Ukraine will have to negotiate with Russia "sooner or later," according to spokesperson Dmitry Peskov. This statement came after Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Serhii Kyslytsya announced the suspension of peace talks. Peskov accused Ukrainian officials of refusing to engage in discussions, while Kyiv considers Moscow's terms unacceptable and tantamount to surrender. Peskov also emphasized that Russia remains open to a political and diplomatic solution but will continue to fight for its security in the absence of such an opportunity. He warned that Ukraine's position will deteriorate day by day, referring to the necessity of future negotiations.
