On July 28, a driver was caught by a mobile speed camera on Germany's A2 motorway doing 321 km/h, the 'highest speed ever recorded' by the device. The legal speed on the stretch was 120 km/h. The driver was fined €900, lost two penalty points and received a three-month driving ban. German autobahns have sections without speed limits, but not all stretches are like this.
