Recent Russian drone attacks on the western Ukrainian regions of Rivne, Volyn and Lviv were allegedly facilitated by relay stations located in Belarus, according to Ukrainian Colonel Andrii Demchenko, spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service, as cited by Ukrainska Pravda.

Demchenko claimed that the aircraft launched by Russia were guided with the help of signals transmitted through stations on Belarusian territory. The statement is Kyiv’s latest accusation regarding Belarus’s involvement in supporting Russian military operations against Ukraine.

“Belarus has not stopped supporting the terrorist country,” the Ukrainian official said, referring to attacks on regions near the western border.

Ukraine’s Border Guard Service has not so far observed a concentration of assault groups near the border on Belarusian territory. Demchenko said, however, that the overall threat posed by Belarus remains.

Kyiv has consistently accused the Minsk regime of providing Russia with military and logistical support. Belarus has previously allowed its territory to be used for Russian operations against Ukraine, but the authorities in Minsk have not confirmed the allegations regarding the use of relay stations to guide drones.
