The Ministry of Health has initiated a legislative framework that allows cancer patients to benefit from reimbursed psychological services, thus recognizing the importance of emotional support in cancer treatment. Until 2026, patients can access these services upon the recommendation of doctors, even from psychologists without training in psycho-oncology. After this date, psychological support will be provided only by qualified specialists. The measures aim to eliminate financial barriers and improve the quality of life for patients.
