Fire at a garage of the STB Ferentari Bus Depot, in Bucharest

At this moment, firefighters are intervening to extinguish a fire that broke out in a hall at the STB Ferentari Bus Depot. According to the Emergency Situations Inspectorate (ISU), the fire occurred in a hall that was reportedly used as a laundry.

Upon the arrival of the first crews, the fire was manifesting with open flames and large smoke emissions, posing risks of propagation. So far, no casualties have been reported.

At the scene, 10 fire-fighting vehicles with water and foam, one intervention and rescue vehicle from height, one rescue vehicle, and a SMURD crew are mobilized to manage the situation and prevent the spread of the fire.
