A violent fire broke out Monday morning at an events complex consisting of several halls, located on Calea Piscului, in Sector 4 of the capital. The flames spread rapidly, and firefighters identified a major risk of the fire spreading to nearby buildings and spaces.
Twelve water- and foam-based firefighting vehicles, two aerial ladder trucks for high-angle rescues, one rescue vehicle, two SMURD crews, and the Special Rescue Detachment were dispatched to the scene. The crews are working to contain and extinguish the fires, as the structure of the affected spaces is making the intervention more difficult.
According to the Bucharest-Ilfov Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, no victims had been reported by the time the information was transmitted. The intervention is ongoing, and the situation remains dynamic due to the intensity of the fire and the danger of the flames reaching neighboring structures.
