The National Federation of Parents - EDUPART announced on August 19 that it requests the Ministry of Education to immediately withdraw the draft methodology for admission to high school, which is currently under public consultation.
The organization argues that the current form of the document affects the fundamental rights of students, creating premises for "discriminatory treatments" and systemic risks in national evaluation. EDUPART reminds that the abolition of the double admission exam in 1999 was based on solid psychopedagogical principles, and its reintroduction would represent a "regression".
The criticisms target the concentration of decision-making at the level of educational units, the lack of external control filters, and the risks of conflicts of interest. The Federation emphasizes that the proposed decentralization will exacerbate socio-economic inequalities and fragment the educational system.
EDUPART proposes maintaining the National Evaluation as the sole selection criterion and has formulated several demands to ensure equity and integrity in the admission process.
