The three-month ROBOR index has decreased to 6.50% per year, but Adrian Codirlașu, the president of the CFA Romania Association, warns that the shock of inflation will continue to be reflected in interest rates. The interest rate must take into account the anticipated inflation to avoid economic imbalances. In this context, the reference index for consumer loans (IRCC) has reached a record level of 6.06% per year, highlighting the impact of inflation on the cost of loans.
