On September 19, 2025, OMV Petrom became the most valuable company on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, with a capitalization of 54.7 billion lei, thus recovering the difference of 16 billion lei compared to Hidroelectrica, which was listed on July 12, 2023. The increase in the value of Petrom's shares is due to favorable financial results and the dividend policy, while Hidroelectrica's shares have decreased by 1.2%. The General Meeting of Shareholders for Petrom is scheduled for October 23, with the ex-dividend date on November 10.
