The Bucharest Stock Exchange / BET rose 0.72% to 32,140.01 points

The Bucharest Stock Exchange closed the trading session higher, with the BET index—the market’s main benchmark and the index of the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market—rising 0.72% to 32,140.01 points.

Most stock market indices recorded positive developments. BET-Plus and BET-XT each advanced 0.71%, while BET-BK, the benchmark index for investment funds, rose 0.54%. The energy and utilities companies index, BET-NG, posted the strongest performance among the main indices, gaining 1.02%.

BET-FI recorded a marginal increase of 0.02%, while the BET AeRO index gained 0.05%.

The highest turnover on the Regulated Market was generated by Banca Transilvania shares, with trades worth 33.67 million lei. They were followed by Electrica, with 21.06 million lei, and OMV Petrom, with 15.71 million lei.

The top gainers included SSIF BRK Financial Group, up 5%, Digi Communications, up 3.77%, and Hidroelectrica, up 3.27%. At the other end of the scale, Prefab shares fell 10.19%, Roca Industry Holdingrock1 declined 8.28%, and Cris-Tim Family Holding dropped 4.71%.
