The Bucharest Stock Exchange closed the trading session lower, as the market’s main index, BET, declined by 0.33% to 34,337.91 points. BET includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market.

Most stock market indices recorded negative performances. BET-Plus fell by 0.31%, BET-XT lost 0.35%, while BET-FI, the index of financial investment companies, declined by 0.77%. BET-BK fell by 0.43%, BET-NG, which tracks companies in the energy and utilities sectors, dropped by 0.34%, while BET AeRO closed down 0.12%.

On the Regulated Market, the largest trading volumes were recorded by OMV Petrom, with transactions worth 9.8 million lei, Banca Transilvania, with 9.12 million lei, and Romgaz, with 5.3 million lei.

The best performances came from Electro-Alfa International shares, which rose by 5.51%, ROCA Industry HoldingRock1, up 4.75%, and Societatea Energetică Electrica, up 2.95%. At the other end of the scale, Green Tech International lost 11.94%, Bermas 6.36%, and AETA 6.02%.»
