Agroland Business System has obtained grants of 1 million euros for the development of four photovoltaic plants.

The Agroland Business System company has announced the obtaining of grants of approximately 1 million euros through the Modernization Fund, aimed at developing four photovoltaic plants at the Agroland Foods Mihăilești and Agroland Agribusiness Ișalnița divisions, with a total installed capacity of 1.62 MW. The projects have a total value of 1.26 million euros, of which 260,000 euros will be co-financed by the group.

At Agroland Foods Mihăilești, three photovoltaic plants with a total capacity of 1.32 MW will be installed, generating annually 1,464 MWh and reducing CO₂ emissions by 826 tons/year. At Agroland Agribusiness Ișalnița, a 300 kW plant will be installed, estimating an annual production of 374 MWh and a reduction of 227 tons of CO₂/year. These systems will almost entirely cover the energy needs of the farms and feed factories, generating annual savings of approximately 370,000 euros, with an investment payback period of about 3.5 years.
