A 26-year-old man from Sibiu was arrested after driving under the influence of alcohol and without a license, causing an accident following a police chase.

A 26-year-old man from Sibiu was placed in preventive arrest for 30 days after driving a car without a license and with a blood alcohol level of 1.69 g/l pure alcohol. During a police chase, he caused an accident, damaging three vehicles, including a police car. As a result of the incident, one person was injured and transported to the hospital.

The Prosecutor's Office next to the Sibiu Court has opened an investigation for bodily harm through negligence, driving a vehicle without a license, and under the influence of alcohol. The young man was caught while trying to evade a stop by the police, speeding through the streets of the municipality.
