The Solvent Passage, an essential infrastructure project for Timișoara, was opened to traffic starting December 22, although in construction conditions, with one lane in each direction. It facilitates the connection between the Ronaț and Iosefin neighborhoods, which previously had only one road crossing. Mayor Dominic Fritz emphasized the importance of this project for the city's development, mentioning that the funding comes largely from the local budget.

Work will continue with the construction of a double tram line and the modernization of the area, with European funding secured. Additionally, next year the construction of a bridge over the Bega will begin, the first built after the Revolution, which will connect Bulevardul Dâmbovița to Calea Bogdăneștilor. The passage is 87 meters long and will include two lanes in each direction, a tram line, sidewalks, and bike lanes, with a total value of 132 million lei.
