The remediation works at Basarab Passage, which started on June 20, continue on Monday, with new traffic restrictions. From June 29 to July 31, vehicle traffic will be allowed on a single lane, in both directions, from Calea Grozăvești towards Șos. Nicolae Titulescu and vice versa.

In August, traffic will move to the other lane, and starting in September, with the beginning of the school year, there will be point closures on the roadway. The municipality estimates the completion of the works by the end of the year. Additionally, tram lines 4 and 11 have been suspended, and STB has introduced line 54, which runs between Depou Alexandria and Zețarilor. Other tram lines have been diverted, and shuttle line 610 has been introduced to facilitate transport. Tram traffic will return to normal on September 1.
