STB resumes tram services on Basarab Overpass and changes the routes of several lines

Tram services on Basarab Overpass will resume on Monday, September 7, following the full reopening of the overpass, Bucharest Transport Company (STB) announced on Friday. With trams returning, lines 1 and 10 will once again operate on their regular routes, lines 4, 11 and 47 will be reinstated, while lines 54 and 610 will be suspended.
Line 1 will connect the Romprim and Bd. Banu Manta terminals, while line 10 will run between the same endpoints, along routes that include Basarab Overpass. Line 4 will run between Șura Mare and Zețarilor, line 11 between Zețarilor and Cartier Giulești, and line 47 between Ghencea and Piața Unirii.
The changes will take effect after the completion of the works and the reopening of the overpass to road and tram traffic.
