The fashion industry in Romania had a turnover of 16.7 billion lei in 2024, with Inditex and LPP dominating the market.

Almost 30% of the market is controlled by Inditex Romania (Zara) and LPP Romania (Sinsay). Inditex has consistently grown, having a business of 2.94 billion lei and a net profit of 415 million lei, with 1,942 employees. LPP has grown from 1.39 billion lei in 2022 to 2 billion lei in 2024, but recorded a loss of 22.8 million lei. Inditex has a market value of 856 million euros, while LPP has 54.6 million euros. Internationally, Inditex had revenues of 38.6 billion euros, while LPP had 4.7 billion euros. Inditex remains the leader in the Romanian market, with a share of 17% of the turnover.
