The Leon train, built by Electroputere VFU Pașcani, will be launched on June 19 at Bucharest's North Railway Station, marking a first after more than 80 years. This DMU railcar has 145 seats, including 11 VIPs, and offers modern amenities such as folding armchairs, sound insulation and advanced safety systems. With a symbolic route from North Station to Băneasa Station, the event will bring together officials and diplomats. The Grampet Group, of which Electroputere is part, is a leader in rail transportation in Central and South-Eastern Europe.
