On the 2nd and 3rd of October, Bucharest was affected by heavy rains, with a water flow in the sewage system of over 200 m³/s, comparable to the Mureș River. Apa Nova reported that the water volume exceeded 6 million m³, representing over 40% of the capacity of Lake Morii. The company promptly responded to 500 reports, restoring normal traffic in the city. Weather warnings indicated significant precipitation across the entire country.
