The crews of the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU) Brașov intervened in the municipality to manage emergency situations caused by the torrential rain on Thursday.

So far, 16 basements, yards, and cellars have been reported flooded, as well as four fallen trees. Two cars and an ambulance were stranded in the area of the underpass on Hărmanului street due to water accumulation. ISU mobilized crews to remove the stranded vehicles, clear the fallen trees, and evacuate water from the cellars.

Brașov was under an orange code for torrential downpours, strong gusts of wind, and hail, and the ANM warned that atmospheric instability will persist, with wind gusts of up to 100 km/h and water quantities that can exceed 60 l/m² in restricted areas.
