Rain and unstable weather caused several incidents in Bucharest on Monday, November 2, where trees brought down by strong winds blocked roads and damaged parked vehicles. No injuries were reported, but traffic was temporarily restricted on several major roads.

One of the incidents occurred in Sector 4, on Metalurgiei Boulevard, near the intersection with Berceni Road. The Traffic Brigade was alerted via a 112 call at around 1:34 p.m., after a tree fell onto the road. The tree caught a cable, and the incident also caused an electricity pole to fall.

Traffic was restricted in both directions to secure the area and allow specialized teams to intervene. Police officers and firefighters worked to remove the obstacles and resume traffic.

Another incident occurred in Sector 6, on Dezrobirii Street. Several trees fell onto the road and hit parked vehicles. Traffic was blocked in both directions until firefighters cleared the street.
