A green tree fell on four cars and a scooter in Sector 6 of the capital

A green tree fell on Friday evening onto four cars and a scooter on Iuliu Maniu Boulevard in Sector 6 of the capital. A young man on the scooter was caught by the branches, and the moment of the incident was filmed by a passerby.

The tree suddenly fell, roots and all, without the trunk breaking. Sector 6 City Hall announced that teams from the Public Domain and Urban Development Administration had assessed the situation at the scene. The exact cause of the incident will be established following technical inspections.

The institution stated that the tree was green, not dry, and that all pruning and felling work for which permits had been issued in the area had been carried out in full.

Sector 6 City Hall said it regretted the damage caused and would assist the owners of the damaged property. They will also receive support and guidance in completing the legal procedures required to recover their losses.
