The Treasury of Bucharest Municipality was severely affected by a flood caused by torrential rains last night, with water penetrating the premises and damaging files, computers, and other equipment. Employees were forced to suspend activities on Wednesday, as water flowed on both levels of the building, both on the ground floor and on the first floor.

Efforts to evacuate the water began immediately, with employees intervening from the early hours of the morning. It is well known that ANAF offices require renovation, and the equipment used is often old, some dating back to 1997, such as desks and printers. This situation highlights the urgent need to modernize the infrastructure to prevent such incidents in the future.
