Red Plan activated in Craiova after an accident between a car and a bus / 20 people involved

The Red Alert Intervention Plan was activated on Friday morning after a crash on Brestei Street in Craiova involving a car and a passenger bus. Authorities announced that 20 people were assessed at the scene, while seven of them required urgent medical care.

One of the victims was found in cardiopulmonary arrest. Medical crews immediately began resuscitation procedures, while rescuers intervened to assess and provide first aid to the other people involved.

Crews from the Dolj County Inspectorate for Emergency Situations and the County Ambulance Service were deployed at the scene. The operation is being carried out with a fire engine, a rescue vehicle, two SMURD ambulances, a vehicle for transporting personnel and multiple victims, as well as a county ambulance service crew.

Authorities will determine the circumstances of the crash and the final number of victims.
