Johnson Wen, a 26-year-old Australian man, was deported to Australia after serving a nine-day prison sentence for assaulting Ariana Grande at the premiere of the film 'Wicked: For Good' in Singapore. Wen jumped over a barrier and attempted to embrace the actress, at which point her co-star, Cynthia Erivo, intervened to protect her. Wen was arrested and charged with 'disturbing public order,' and the judge emphasized that he had demonstrated repeated behavior suggesting he could commit such acts again. Although the maximum sentence could have been three months in prison, Wen received only nine days. After the incident, he posted a video on Instagram, thanking Grande for the time spent together. The film 'Wicked: For Good' was released in the United States on Friday, and Grande and Erivo had a close collaboration throughout the film's promotion.
