On 12.08.2025, border guards from Nădlac stopped a Romanian-registered car, driven by a Romanian citizen, and discovered 473 suspected counterfeit mobile phones inside. The driver was unable to produce documents of origin for the goods and the total value of the phones is estimated at 3,074,000 lei. The authorities are continuing investigations to establish the circumstances and apply the necessary legal measures.
