Serena Williams, the legendary American tennis player, will return to the court at 44 years old, participating in the doubles tournament at Queen's, scheduled between June 8-14. Williams, who retired in September 2022, has requested a wild-card to play alongside young Canadian Victoria Mboko, 19 years old, ranked 9th in the WTA. Although she did not request a wild-card for singles, Serena plans to also play in the tournament in Berlin and at Wimbledon, alongside her sister, Venus. Mboko recently had a notable performance, defeating Romanian Jaqueline Cristian in the semifinals of the tournament in Strasbourg. With nearly 95 million dollars earned in prize money, Serena Williams remains the highest-paid player in the history of women's tennis.
