CFR Cluj is going through a difficult period, having only three victories this season and occupying 12th place in the standings, 9 points away from the play-off. Additionally, the club has changed four coaches and is facing significant financial problems. The FRF Disciplinary Commission has begun proceedings to deduct two points from the team due to unpaid salaries. Owner Neluțu Varga stated that he is confident that the financial issues will be resolved and that there will be no point deduction, emphasizing that, in the event that it happens, "no one will die." Furthermore, Varga is facing legal issues, with a bailiff considering the sale of a luxury real estate complex due to debts.
"Honestly, I don't think this will happen, because the financial problems are being resolved. So be patient. They will be resolved! I have informed the FRF. So the problems will be resolved! I don't think this will happen. And if it does happen, no one will die! That's it! We are going through a tougher moment, but we will recover," Neluțu Varga stated exclusively to ProSport.
