The designated Prime Minister Eugen Tomac had discussions with representatives of the Young People's Party (POT) regarding the priorities of the future cabinet, emphasizing that the solution for unblocking the political situation is the investment of a Government made up of professionals. Tomac is open to dialogue with all political formations and will present a calendar for requesting the vote of confidence in Parliament after consultations.
POT, led by Anamaria Gavrilă, proposes replacing the current Executive and forming a national unity Government, with Tomac in the position of Prime Minister and the ministries shared among all parliamentary parties.
"If we are indeed in a difficult situation as a country, then all parliamentary parties must take on governance", stated POT leader Anamaria Gavrilă.
Tomac expressed optimism regarding the establishment of a majority, continuing negotiations to gain the necessary support for the investment of the new Government, a month after the fall of the Government led by Ilie Bolojan.
