Nicușor Dan will receive Mark Rutte on Wednesday at the Cotroceni Palace for discussions about Romania's security and NATO threats, before the NATO Forum for the Defense Industry.

The President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, will have a meeting on Wednesday with the NATO Secretary General, Mark Rutte, during his first visit to Romania since taking over the leadership of the Alliance. The discussions will focus on the threats facing NATO, particularly on the Eastern Flank, and on ways to strengthen Romania's security. The two officials will also participate in the NATO Defense Industry Forum, which will take place in Bucharest between November 5-6, 2025, an event dedicated to strategic dialogue with the defense industries of member states.
