The Minister of Finance, Alexandru Nazare, stated that Romania's economy will have a recovery due to the economic measures implemented. He emphasized that, through this year's budget revision, 152 billion lei have been allocated for investments, a significantly larger amount compared to the previous year.
Nazare mentioned that next year will be crucial for the absorption of funds from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), with a deadline until August to access this money. He highlighted the importance of streamlining expenditures both at the central and local levels. Additionally, Nazare stated that, without the measures taken by the government, the economic situation in Romania would have been much worse.
He is optimistic that the economy will recover, having the necessary conditions for a recovery by 2026, emphasizing the responsibility of each minister in this process.
