The Minister of Finance, Alexandru Nazare, will participate on November 13 in the meeting of the Council for Economic and Financial Affairs (ECOFIN) in Brussels, where the revised National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) of Romania will be adopted. The agenda of the meeting also includes discussions about the measures adopted by Romania to reduce the budget deficit. Nazare will participate in a working breakfast with European officials and will address topics such as strengthening the economy and customs reform. An important expected outcome is the confirmation of the adaptation of the reform and investment program to current realities, essential for sustainable growth and economic resilience. He also mentioned that ECOFIN will eliminate the risk of suspension of European funds for Romania, being confident that the evaluations will bring positive results.
