The government allocates 20 million lei for residential centers that have received people from illegal nursing homes.

The Romanian government has approved, through a resolution, the allocation of the amount of 20,028,000 lei from the budget reserve fund for the financing of residential centers for adults with disabilities and homes for the elderly. This measure targets individuals relocated from illegal nursing homes managed by Viorel Pașca in Bihor County.


According to the statement from the Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration, the funds will be distributed to 23 administrative-territorial units, aiming to protect the 409 vulnerable individuals. Of the total amount, over 13 million lei is allocated to residential centers for people with disabilities, while 7 million lei is for the operation of homes for the elderly. The Minister of Development, Cseke Attila, emphasized the importance of this measure for ensuring the safety and adequate care of vulnerable individuals.
