Designated Prime Minister Siegfried Mureșan submitted the government program and the list of ministers proposed for the future cabinet to Parliament on Saturday. The document includes 372 concrete measures, and the list was approved by the statutory bodies of the UDMR, PNL, and USR.

The program proposes reforming the state, reducing bureaucracy, and revitalizing the economy. The announced measures include reducing the number of parliamentarians in accordance with the latest census, limiting the number of state secretaries, and banning the simultaneous receipt of a pension and a salary in the public sector. The government is expected to have three deputy prime ministers, each with a portfolio.

The list of ministers includes Mircea Abrudean for the Interior, Radu Miruță for Defense, Tanczos Barna for Agriculture, Andreea Chiș for Justice, Cătălin Drulă for Transport, Oana Țoiu for Foreign Affairs, and Alexandru Nazare for Finance. For the other portfolios, those proposed include Oana Gheorghiu for Health, Raluca Turcan for Labor, Dragoș Pîslaru for European Funds, Diana Buzoianu for the Environment, and Sebastian Burduja for Energy. The date of the investiture vote in Parliament was not specified.
