Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan announced that the project regarding the limitation of the accumulation of pensions with salaries in the public sector will be completed by Monday at the latest. He emphasized that the project will respect the decisions of the Constitutional Court and will take into account the realities in the field. Bolojan explained that the ban will mainly target non-contributory pensions, not contributory ones, mentioning examples from education and health, where retirees can continue to work in essential functions. He also highlighted the need to reduce expenses and to allow newcomers to fill vacant positions. The project will be submitted for approval to the Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM) and will be transparent, to be discussed publicly.
