Ilie Bolojan declared that his party no longer trusts the PSD and presented two options for resolving the political crisis. The PNL leader does not rule out early elections.

He highlighted the major differences of opinion between PNL and PSD regarding state spending and necessary reforms. Bolojan warned that a forced coalition would not solve the citizens' problems and would fuel the anti-system vote.

PNL proposed two solutions: a coalition between PSD and AUR or minority governments, with a center-right government followed by a center-left one.

Bolojan mentioned PSD's threats regarding the reforms in PNRR and suggested that early elections could be an option if the political situation does not improve, which could take place in the fall or next spring.
