Oana Țoiu, message after the consultations at Cotroceni: "Some no longer care about the future, but about the nostalgia of a power they no longer have"

Following the consultations at the Cotroceni Palace, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Oana Țoiu, conveyed, through a public message, that the representatives of USR communicated to President Nicușor Dan their team's commitment to build responsibly alongside dedicated political partners.

Țoiu emphasized the importance of responsibility in politics, stating that USR will not yield to those who seek power without assuming responsibilities.

"Today I told President Nicușor Dan that we, as a team, will continue to build courageously alongside political partners who come to work for this purpose, but we will not yield to those who desire power without responsibility", declared Oana Țoiu.

In a subtle allusion to PSD, she mentioned that Romania needs leaders who care about the future of the country, criticizing those who seem more interested in the nostalgia of a power they no longer hold. Țoiu concluded that honest people no longer tolerate such behaviors, reaffirming USR's commitment to a politics based on integrity and responsibility.

"Now, however, others no longer care about the future, but about the nostalgia of a power they no longer have. And they no longer have it because honest people no longer tolerate them", Țoiu added.
