UDMR President Kelemen Hunor believes that possible snap elections would put Romania in a situation where it would have a government formed around AUR. He emphasizes that he does not trust this party, which is why he considers that snap elections would not be a beneficial option.
"Snap elections do not change anything for the better. And now, based on today's figures, we know that it will be the same Parliament, except that AUR will win around 38-40%; let us not estimate more, because these are today's figures. Perhaps there will be a smaller PSD, a smaller PNL, a smaller USR. We face this 5% threshold every time, which we have to exceed, and we have succeeded every time," said the UDMR president in an interview for Antena 3.
