The Minister of Investments and European Projects, Dragoș Pîslaru, emphasized that Romania must become a country where work is rewarded, not privileges. He commented on the recent decision of the Constitutional Court, which declared the law regarding the pensions of magistrates unconstitutional, highlighting the need for a fair and sustainable pension system for all citizens, regardless of profession.

Pîslaru highlighted the current discrepancies, where some benefit from very high pensions, while others can barely cover basic expenses. He stated that the reform of special pensions is essential for normalizing the fiscal system and is awaiting the Court's reasoning to determine the next steps.
