The Ministry of Culture announces legislative changes for the management of cultural heritage, following a report by the Court of Auditors which highlights shortcomings.

The Ministry of Culture has said that reforming legislation on national cultural heritage is a priority after the Court of Accounts flagged structural problems in its management. The report highlighted inherited shortcomings, legislative fragmentation and lack of resources. The ministry is preparing a draft law to harmonize existing regulations and ensure efficient management of cultural heritage, in consultation with institutional partners and professionals in the field.
