Journalist Cristian Tudor Popescu expressed harsh criticism of President Nicușor Dan, stating that he has not accomplished anything significant since taking office. During the 'News Pass' show on B1 TV, CTP declared that Nicușor Dan is "the main agent holding Romania back," accusing him of undermining European values.
Additionally, CTP commented on the failure to adopt the Salary Law, considering it not a failure, but a "triumph" for PSD and AUR. CTP also criticized the intervention of the leaders of the PPE and Renew Europe groups, who requested the European Commission not to pay funds to Romania without amending the legislation, arguing that this move compromises the country's European relations.
"President Nicușor Dan is the biggest, I must admit, the biggest dwarf of these European values in Romania, at this moment. For over a year, he has simply been dwarfing them. This man, first of all, has done nothing. So, to avoid making political, sociological, or physiognomic analyses, I know, this man has done nothing!
It's about the fact that he has done nothing! Nothing! Such a thing has not happened with any president of Romania. Each of them has done good things, bad things, very bad things, but each of them has done something, even Iohannis," Cristian Tudor Popescu stated during the 'News Pass' show on B1 TV.
