Traian Preoteasa, the director of CFR Călători, assured that the company will not stop traffic and will not go bankrupt, but warned of the financial risks due to debts to suppliers, especially for diesel. Employees' salaries will be paid on time, but there is a risk that suppliers will stop delivering services. Preoteasa emphasized the need to sign an additional act for the unitary compensation, which should be indexed to inflation, otherwise CFR Călători will have difficulties in operating. The company's monthly expenses exceed its revenues, and the director asked for clarification on the company's financial future.
