CFR Infrastructure has announced the resumption of train services by CFR Passengers, which had been temporarily canceled. This follows an agreement between the two railway companies, which settled the outstanding amounts of approximately 80 million lei. CFR SA has confirmed the receipt of a firm payment commitment from CFR Passengers, and the measure to suspend services has been canceled.

Constructive discussions between the management of the two companies have led to the establishment of a debt settlement plan through payments and compensations. CFR SA emphasizes its commitment to responsibly manage the complex situations in railway infrastructure, maintaining dialogue and applying pragmatic solutions to protect the public interest. The company will closely monitor the compliance with the payment commitments assumed by CFR Passengers.
