The US border authority has announced that electronics, including smartphones, laptops and components, will be exempt from the tariffs announced by Trump. The exemption applies to products imported or removed from warehouses after April 5. This comes in the context of the 145% tariffs on Chinese goods, having a significant impact on companies such as Apple. In response, China raised tariffs on US imports to 125%, and President Xi Jinping emphasized that there are no winners in a trade war. Trump expressed confidence in his relationship with Xi.
